General Description

With views overlooking Wastwater Lake and the surrounding fells, Bowderdale Farm Cottage is perfect for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts wishing to explore one of the Lake District's quieter valleys. The cottage offers basic self catering accommodation which is warm, comfortable and functional.

The hallway leads to the kitchen, sitting room and bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished with electric cooker and hob, microwave and plenty of storage space. There are laundry facilities at the farmhouse and the owner Paul will launder your washing for you or put damp outdoor gear through the tumble drier.

The bathroom is downstairs with electric shower, toilet and sink. Towels are provided.

The sitting room has three sofas (each seating two) and a multi-fuel stove which warms the living room nicely and also heats the radiators in the rest of the house.

The stairs lead from the sitting room to three bedrooms upstairs. There is a master bedroom with a double bed, a second double bedroom and the final bedroom which has 3 single beds. Although the cottage sleeps up to 7 people the living areas, especially the kitchen table can only really accommodate 6 people.

Outside there is the use of a garden which overlooks Wastwater Lake. Please note that the garden is shared and is also used by people staying B&B at the farmhouse.
