This cosy cottage was well worth a visit, had everything and more that you would need. Short drive to the shops and beautiful walks, less than 30mins drive to Whinlatter Forest where they have a go ape climbing activity, 20 mins drive to dog friendly beaches. Would definitely have a return visit.

We spent a very lovely week in Borrowdale Cottage. The cottage was exceptionally well equipped, clean and cosy. We managed to explore a good deal of the Lake District from here. We will definitely be back!

Lovely cottage, hosts were so nice. Everything you could need was provided, so considerate. Shame the pub next door had had to close.

Hi Rosemary, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, it's a lovely place for a relaxing break isn't it? It is a shame about the pub, luckily there are lots of good ones just a short drive away. I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
