Lovely cottage in a nice location. However, traffic noise was louder than we would have anticipated.

Easy to get to all the places we like, such as Keswick, Glendinning, Threlkeld and Pooley Bridge.

We loved Bluebell cottage and we will definitely return, the home was very spacious and had everything you would want or need from a holiday cottage…..perfect

This was our first visit to this area of the Lakes and we loved it. The cottage was beautiful, well equipped with everything you could think of (a little welcome tray would have been appreciated as supplied at previous cottage stays but this may be down to COVID measures) and a gorgeous, private garden. We struck lucky the day we arrived as the local pub reopened after three years of closure and the food didn’t disappoint or the warm welcome from the management and staff.
There isn’t a huge amount of amenities on the doorstep but we loved Pooley Bridge , just three miles away, with a range of eating and drinking establishments and lovely walks for all range of fitness and abilities. We’ll certainly be back and hopefully for longer next time.
