Tim Mosedale – Keswick Mountain Man!

Published:

Local climber and mountaineer Tim Mosedale somehow manages to find time to run his successful bed & breakfast, be a dad to Grace and Max, husband to Ali AND expeditions to Everest, Ama Dablam and beyond! Not content with climbing Everest for the second time in May 2011, Tim has also been a support runner for several Bob Graham attempts in recent months including supporting leg 5 on a record breaking round on the shortest day of the year.

Time Mosedale on Mount Everest

Each November, Tim runs a highly successful trip to Ama Dablam with 9 trips under his belt. 2011 saw him summit Everest for the second time becoming only the 10th Brit to summit from both the north and south sides. On this trip he successfully led 4 clients to the roof of the world and is hoping to repeat his success this year.

Whilst Everest may be out of the reach of your average Lakeland holidaymaker, why not consider a day out cragging in the safe hands of an expert. Our cottages in Keswick and especially Borrowdale are on the doorstep of some of the Lake District’s finest rock scenery. Tim can often be found leading clients up routes on the famous Shepherd’s Crag at Lodore and Raven Crag deep in The Combe between the fells of Glaramara and Rosthwaite Fell.

Tim offers tailor made courses, specialising in one on one instruction, whether you are a climber looking to brush up or advance your skills, or a complete beginner. You can book in advance or take a chance last minute when stopping out one of our self catering cottages in the Lake District.
