These fabulous awards celebrate top female talent in the tourism and visitor economy sector and honor women who show outstanding talent and initiative in their roles. They also recognise the mentors and businesses that support their careers.

The fourth annual gala dinner and awards ceremony was hosted by rugby star and television presenter, Matt Dawson MBE, and took place at the London Marriott hotel in Mayfair.

Sally joined 280 female leaders from the UK’s tourism, hospitality, passenger transport, travel, tourism and retail industries for the evening. She believes our growth is all down to her hard-working, driven, dedicated team who go above and beyond to make Sally’s Cottages a success.

We are all delighted to have been shortlisted against such a fantastic line up of professional women and we're celebrating everyone in our business for their belief in the Sally's Cottages brand and for winning this fantastic achievement.

We're also in the running for a further two awards at the prestigious 2014 Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs) taking place this Friday in Blackpool. The EVAs were created to recognise women in the North West who are inspiring others by successfully running their own businesses or are at the forefront of their profession. Sally’s Cottages has been shortlisted for the Hospitality Industry category and Sally Fielding is a finalist for the Business Woman of the Year Award. The teams has their bags packed and their best frocks ready for tomorrow night's grand event!

Our team is also hoping to be crowned winner at next month’s 2014 CN Business Awards. We are nominated for the Customer Service Excellence award and Sally has been shortlisted for the Businessperson of the Year prize. The formal awards ceremony takes place next month in Carlisle.

Onwards and upwards, more exciting news to come!
