It's a welcoming but unfussy home with easy access into Ambleside itself and just a short drive (or an enjoyable walk along the coffin route) from Grasmere. The boot room is the ideal spot for your dogs to have their own space and the nearby walks and attractions in Ambleside, Gramsere and Windermere will keep you busy for your whole stay!

Just outside the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, it is on a private estate surrounded by lovely Lake District countryside. You can easily head into Bowness, where you can hop on a pet-friendly Lake Cruise or explore the attractions. Or a short drive will take you into the heart of Grasmere.

The Bolthole
