Set up by Lee Simpson over 20 years ago, Keswick Adventures was born out of a love and passion for people and adventure. Making use of his vast adventure experience, Lee began helping others to experience his own enjoyment of the great outdoors. With gorgeous scenery, a little bit of adrenaline, and a lot of fun, Keswick Adventures offers people of all ages the chance to get out and about on the fells and in the water to experience the Lake District from a different, thrilling perspective.
The small company prides itself on offering a wide range of outdoor activities while using the best equipment and guides that the Lake District has to offer. The adventure leaders share Lee’s passion for the great outdoors and are as qualified and experienced as they are friendly.
Keswick Adventures has also had its small role to play in Hollywood! Lee and his team worked alongside director Sir Sam Mendes with his award-winning war-thriller film 1917, where they assisted the actors, stuntmen and crew in creating a scene where a main character is washed down waterfalls and rapids. Their job was to make sure everything was safe while the actor and stuntman were in the water.
Lee has travelled the world seeking out unique adventure experiences including hydrospeeding, a thrilling white water surf down the rivers of Cumbria and the North of England. He is proud that Keswick Adventures are the only company offering this high-octane sport in the county.
Whether you are a big stag do or hen party wanting to try something different, a family looking to connect in the great outdoors, or a couple that's excited about trying something new, Keswick Adventures can offer you a wide range of options. From ghyll scrambling to kayaking, and raft building to coasteering, there’s plenty to get your adrenaline pumping in and around the adventure capital of the Lake District!
