We have taken on some FANTASTIC new Lake District cottages recently. Rob has clocked up hundreds of miles to take all the photos and we are really pleased with how they look. We have been plugging these new cottages on our Facebook and Google+ page and receiving some great feedback. The bookings are looking good too!
Here is a rundown of our latest cottages and a link to the website details . . . . .
Bridge House puts us in mind of Wuthering Heights, just look at the photo and you will see why. The detached cottage is in the middle of rolling countryside south of Windermere with a big garden and orchard. It sleeps 6 people, takes 1 dog and has wifi.
Copper Beech Lodge is a fine looking Edwardian gatehouse on a private road to Coniston Water. There is a rambling garden, a private beach on the lake, 4 bedrooms and a cosy open fire – the sitting room is on the second floor making the most of the view. Sleeps 8, takes one dog, has wifi.
In Keswick, we have Fell Views, a traditional town house with, yes you’ve guessed it, beautiful views across the rooftops to the Coledale Fells. It sleeps 6 and is perfectly located for strolling down to the Theatre or taking in a film at the Art Deco cinema.
Finally, there is Scar Cottage in Applethwaite sleeping 8 people. The hamlet is in an elevated position above Keswick and Bassenthwaite Lake and the cottage enjoys extensive fell views. One dog is welcome; the cottage has wifi and a fancy internet telly, not to mention a gorgeous open fire in the sitting room.
