The Lake District market town has set tails wagging after it was named the best Dog Friendly Town in the UK!

Keswick scooped gold in the Kennel Club’s Open for Dogs Awards after receiving the most public votes. The awards are now in their sixth year and aim to encourage more places to be pet-friendly.

We raise a paw to Keswick as it came top over 28,000 other towns and businesses, which were also, open to nominations.

As a town of dog-lovers, many bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops will be more than welcoming to your four legged friends so they can enjoy their holiday as much as their happy owners.

The Keswick Launches visit stations all around the peaceful lake where you can either hop off and enjoy a walk or activity or stay on the boat and continue cruising. The launch stops at Ashness Gate, Lodore, High Brandlehow, Low Brandlehow, Hawes End and Nichol End. Dogs are welcome and can ride free of charge.
