Darling How is one of our beautiful Lake District cottages, located on Whinlatter pass, mid-way between Keswick and Lorton. It’s an fabulous cottage in a stunning location, surrounded by the Lake District fells. The cottage has a lovely patio area with has an amazing view out over Lorton Vale to the coast and which catches the summer sun until late into the evening.
It gives us a real boost here in the office to get good feedback from people who have enjoyed staying at our cottages and Darling How really seems to be the flavour of the month; in the last week, we have received these two pieces of wonderful feedback about the cottage:
From a happy hen:
“I've been meaning to email to say thank you, the cottage was fantastic!! I had an perfect hen weekend and the girls were all very impressed, especially with the size of the kitchen table!
The cottage was very clean, well equipped and the decor was beautiful, not to mention the location which was breathtaking.
I will definitely be using Sally's Cottages again and hopefully will be back to stay at Darling How next year as a married woman!”
And this one from visitors who had a lovely relaxing stay at the house:
“I thought I would drop you a quick email to say a big thank you !
Darling How is absolutely gorgeous and the location is superb. We had a fabulous weekend with our friends celebrating my wedding anniversary & my husband’s 50th. The cottage provided everything we wanted and gave us such a relaxing weekend. You could see the stress melt away. My husband and I were the last to leave on Sunday night, we kept putting off the moment of leaving. We felt so at home.
We all agreed we want to come back again – we just need to co-ordinate 6 diaries to find some dates !!!
Thank you once again and I hope to see Darling How again soon”.
What higher praise could there be than these comments? We have loads of brilliant Lake District Cottages for you to come and enjoy, and hopefully you’ll have a great time staying with us.
