Hunt the Herdy on Random Acts of Kindness Day 2019

Published:

This weekend, Sunday the 17th of February 2019, is a wonderful day; it is Random Acts of Kindness Day! You are encouraged to go out and do something nice for someone, with no expectation of anything in return! And, if you experience a random act of kindness yourself, pay it forward to someone else so that everyone's day is made that little bit better.

Super Herdys for Hunt the HerdyOne Lake District company treats every day like Random Acts of Kindness; Herdy - inspired by the iconic Herdwick sheep - creates all its products with the aim to make you smile. Their mugs, soft toys, keyrings, and other products are a firm favourite or visitors and locals alike and there's real heart behind it all. Whether they are supporting sustainable rural communities, partaking in fair trade standards, or donating to local causes, they do a bit of good every single day.

This Sunday they launch their second annual "Hunt the Herdy" event. 30 Little Herdy soft toys - dressed as "Super Herdys" - will be hidden across Cumbria and the Lake District for the public to discover and take home. It is just another way that they encourage happiness and exploration of this beautiful region.

If you don't manage to find your own Little Herdy, you can head to their shop in Keswick to take a selfie with the giant Super Herdy that will be stationed there all day!

We hope Herdy will inspire you to do your own random act of kindness every day of the year. Here are just a few ideas!
