Penruddock falls within the wider area of Greystoke. This small village has a friendly and welcoming pub- which even has a small village shop inside! - an open air swimming pool, a beautiful church and a fantastic cyclists café on the popular Coast to Coast route.
There are several lovely walks in the area including Great Mell Fell and the Eycott Hill nature reserve.
