Beverley Cottage is a traditional seaside cottage in the coastal village of Haverigg. There is a very small population in this village and the location benefits from a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. The village dates back to Viking times. The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms and is the perfect base for a family holiday on the Cumbrian coast.
There is an extensive sandy beach at Haverigg. Beverley Cottage is in a quiet position overlooking the beach and the harbour, enjoying beautiful sunsets. The Hodbarrow RSPB nature reserve is a short walk away and the area around Haverigg is visited by a wide variety of birds.
Black Combe provides an impressive backdrop to the village. The summit of this vast fell is easily attained and there are views for miles across the coast and the Lake District. You can also enjoy rides on heavy horses along the beach, country lanes and on the beaches.
