We love Aiken but don't want too many people to know about it!

Hi Andrew, I'm glad you enjoyed your break. It's the perfect place to get away from it all isn't it? Until next time!

The view from the house was lovely. Even on a wet day!
Covid meant we didn't have another family with us, so it was a big place for just the four of us (& also more expensive) but we looked at it as a one off in these strange times.
Nice walks. Lovely log fire.

The big positive for Aikin is its large size making it suitable for 2-3 families to share; and a very large sitting/dining room for communal activities eg amateur music, card games or birthday celebrations. It is in a prime walking area with fine views and particularly suitable for those intending to actively walk the hills. Access is by somewhat narrow roads with passing places - but not unduly difficult.
