Love cottage, brilliant location, great value for money. Only down side is taking own towels and it was cold downstairs.

Hello Susan, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It's a gem of a cottage, isn't it? The location is hard to beat! Thank you also for your feedback regarding the temperature downstairs, I will look into this further. Come back any time, you can be sure of a very warm welcome.

Great location, lovely warm cosy cottage. Sadly no condiments (salt and pepper), no tea bags. The cupboard to the boiler was locked, so we could not initially access the boiler to put the heating on constant. It was the wettest week we had every experienced in Keswick, so we really needed the heating on. The only down side to the week was that the parking permit had ran out. It cost £50, to cover the cost of parking until a temporary permit was issued. This is due to be reimbursed.

A lovely cottage but not geared for people that walk and especially during the winter ( nowhere to dry or put wet clothing ). Neither is it really good for dogs, the font small garden is open to the road and the back garden is an alleyway. However the decor and bathrooms are lovely and the log burner gives it a lovely warm feeling.

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I bet it was a treat to come home to that lovely log burner after a day out walking in the fresh Lakes air. I really appreciate your feedback and suggestions for improvement and will make sure everything is looked into, thank you. I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
