Relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings. Equipped very well. Personally would prefer 2 comfortable arm chairs in place of one of the rather lolopy settees. Very handy for pub and the Gather coffee shop.

Lovely cottage, much larger than its looks from the photos. Ennerdale Bridge is a small village but offers places to eat, including The Gather which is very close by. We enjoyed some quiet walks by the lake and ventured further afield to visit Keswick and the Cumbrian coast. A very good value for money holiday. We never found the coffee machine referred to on the website but teenagers very happy to find there was a smart TV.

Lovely, spacious cottage. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. Fantastic location, nice private garden at the back for sitting out. It’s perfect for peace and quiet and walks with stunning views. Highly recommend the delicious afternoon tea at the Gather (and the lovely staff) and massive portions of tasty food at the Fox and Hounds.
