Contemporary style and creature comforts make this a real home from home. Enjoy your location on a quiet street from which you can wander down to the water’s edge and spend time in town.

This comfortable, three-storey terraced house is perfect for a family or large group of friends; a homey base for spending quality time together. The house is bright and welcoming and is beautifully furnished from top to bottom. Everything is conveniently laid out to make your stay as relaxed as possible, from the fully equipped kitchen to the spacious open-plan living and dining area - great for gathering together at the end of each day’s adventure.

The house is in a great location, less than a 10-minute walk from the town centre but nestled in a quiet residential street with ample on-street parking. There are two supermarkets in Keswick and lots of shops selling local produce, so there are plenty of options for dining in. When you want to eat out, you can simply stroll into town and you will find everything from hipster cafes, to local pubs, wine bars and fine dining. In addition to that, there are plenty of water sports, shops, walks, and indoor activities to explore. This property's convenience for everything means you may not even need the car during the whole of your stay!

Whether you've come to relax or have an adventure, this is a relaxing base in the heart of it all.

This spacious and comfortable terrace house has been beautifully refurbished and sits in the middle of a row of three-storey slate houses. You enter into a stylish and welcoming living area, complete with a handy coat rail and shoe rack conveniently located to your left. The living room seating consists of a triple sofa, triple upholstered bench (with back), and two single armchairs. There is a Freeview/Smart TV with DVD player, box of DVDs and large coffee table. There is also a cupboard containing a range of children's board games, as well as a collection of cookery books, so there is plenty to keep everyone entertained! The wood burner and large dining table make this the sociable hub of the house.

An open doorway leads through into a spacious kitchen, containing everything required to cater for a large group: oven (with electric hob, grill, two full-sized oven spaces and a warming oven), integrated fridge and freezer (with ice tray), toaster, kettle, radio, microwave, washer dryer, sink space and dishwasher, plus a full range of utensils. Every detail has been thought of in this chic, modern kitchen space.

A carpeted stairway leads up to the upper rooms, which have all been beautifully decorated to coordinate with the soft natural hues of blue, yellow and grey on the ground floor. A full-length mirror is hung at the top of the stairs. There is a shower room containing a toilet, small sink with lit mirror and a heated towel rail (the shower has a luxury waterfall shower head, as well as a standard one). The second bathroom has a bath (with shower over), sink with lit mirror, heated towel rail and toilet. The first bedroom you come to is a twin room, with a wall lamp above each bed and a rail with clothes hangers at the foot of each bed, a set of shelves and a mirror. A window looks out onto the yard and lets plenty of light in. The second bedroom is the master bedroom, stylish and spacious with a king-size bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, a wardrobe, colourful bench, set of shelves, vanity table with a mirror and stool. A large window looks down onto the street.

On the top floor, there are two more bedrooms. The first room is laid out as a single bedroom but does have a double bed, so could be used for two. The bed is against the wall on one side/ There are shelves and a lamp next to the bed, a coat rail, draws, table with stool and mirror and a skylight window, making this a lovely bright space. The second room is a spacious king-size room with a sloping ceiling and a gable window, giving it the feel of a cosy hide-away space. There are two bedside tables with a lamp, a table with chair and mirror, coat hooks and a Smart TV, with Freeview.

At the back of the house is a yard, which you can access via the kitchen or through a wooden gate round the back. Along one side is a slate shingled plant bed and there are two small metal tables, with four chairs, where you can enjoy your morning coffee. This is a good space if you need to store bikes, kayaks and general outdoor equipment but you will need to bring locks, as there is just a simple sliding latch on the wooden gate.

Lovely clean house in a great location. Issues with lack of hot water, heating, and faulty oven on arrival, however these were promptly rectified the following day (on a weekend). Fantastic week with family, great space for relaxed social time.

A really lovely house in a quiet part of Keswick, but only 5 mins walk into town. The house is a great base to explore the area. As others have mentioned, although it sleeps 8, the lounge and dining table would be tight for more than 6. We were 4 though, so it was perfect! The bedrooms are a good size, particularly the doubles, with good bath and sRead morehower, and the kitchen is great. The double bedroom on the top floor does get hot in warm weather, so come prepared. A great place! Hide

Absolutely brilliant cottage - we would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Keswick. Great location and very well equipped. There were only 4 of us and we had plenty of space -I would agree with other comments/reviews that up to 6 would be fine, but for 8 it would be a squeeze. The internal doors are extremely heavy fire-doors so if visiting wRead moreith children, depending on age, they may not be able to open them. Lovely place in a good location with nice furniture. I think it might be a bit cramped for 8 adults as the lounge is small but we were 5 adults so just fine. It would have been better to have a dressing room in the main bedroom to dry your hair and do your make up rather than a chair. The location meant you could walk to numerous bars and restauranRead morets and down to the lake. We managed to get a parking space practically outside each time.
