Wonderfully located for boat trips on Derwentwater and adventures up fells such as Catbells, this home is great for small families or holidays with friends.

This cosy, well-maintained bungalow sleeps four people in a quiet residential part of Keswick. The cottage is situated in an elevated position looking out over the pretty Lake District town of Keswick with stunning views of Catbells, Grisedale Pike, Skiddaw and other Lake District fells.

The property is in a superb location; there are many walks straight from the cottage on to the nearby fells and there is also easy access to the attractions, shops, cafes and pubs in Keswick. Why not head to Derwentwater, the lake that Keswick sits by, and enjoy a boat ride? You can hire a rowing boat or hop onto one of the Keswick Launches and tour the water!

Your evenings, too, can be as jam-packed or as restful as you please! There are plenty of places to eat out of an evening, and the Theatre by the Lake has shows all year round. Or visit the lovely Alhambra Cinema to catch a movie. Alternatively, snuggle up this lovely bungalow and enjoy a home-made meal while planning tomorrow's adventure!

From the entrance hallway you enter the kitchen, which has wonderful views of the Lakeland fells and is fully equipped with an gas hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and iron/ironing board. There is also a portable freezer available upon request. There is a washing machine (no dryer).

The comfortable lounge has a gas fire, digital TV with Freeview, DVD player and a further dining table with drop down leaves.

There is a twin bedroom with ample wardrobe and drawer space and a double bedroom, which also has ample wardrobe and drawer space and superb fell views.

The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, WC and handbasin.

Outside is a patio with garden furniture for sitting out and enjoying the spectacular sunsets and awesome views of Skiddaw.

Cottage was very clean and maintained to a high standard. Easy on-road parking outside the cottage. Excellent location for exploring Keswick area; ten-minute walk to the Lake and ten minute drive to Stone Circle. The microwave was not working properly but as it lit-up and turned round, the fault was not obvious. A very nice cottage in a great location just outside Keswick. Easy access into the town and into the local area for walks. It is well equipped, roomy and feels like a home rather than just a place to crash. It has been refurbished and updated to a high standard, bed linen is of a good quality and the beds are comfortable. A very well equipped and comfortable bungalow, with a wonderful view across the town to mountains all around. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the use of the portable freezer. Ideal location for our annual family gathering. Can park the car outside and dont need to move it again. 10 minute walk into Keswick. Comfy beds and well equipped. Plenty of extra bedding if weather cold. Have stayed here a number of times now and already booked again for next year.

Excellent location for walking from the cottage. We walked to Castlerigg Stone Circle returning via the rail trail; Derwent Water lakeside and Great Wood; and a short drive to Dodd Wood and Bassenthwaite lakeside.

We had a very enjoyable week. The bungalow is comfortable and well equipped. The view is fantastic. We have stayed previously and will do again. The steps down to the front door and again to the garden could be an issue for some people.

Well equipped cottage in a lovely location with beautiful views from the kitchen and bedroom and a pleasant sitting area in the garden. Keswick town is a short walk away with plenty to see and do so the cottage is ideally situated. Marvellous place to stay, a hidden gem with all the comforts of home. Fantastic views across Keswick and beyond, including Catbells, Causey Pike, Skiddaw and Blencathra. Close enough to the town centre to leave the car behind.

Super place for a holiday. Some walks direct from the house: Castle Head very close for a quick walk and a superb view. Derwent water Ashness Bridge and Walla Crag. Castlerigg Stone Circle and Latrigg. Keswick Railway Walk goes all the way to Threlkeld, back the same way, or via the Stone Circle.
