SPRING BANK: HOW TO FIND US

From the South

  • Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 for Kendal/Lakes.
  • Follow signs to Barrow (A590).
  • Turn right to Workington (A5092) 3 miles beyond Newby Bridge and follow this road to Broughton-in-Furness (10 miles).
  • Turn right to Ulpha before a humped back bridge which has traffic lights on it (3/4 mile beyond Broughton).
  • In 500m you pass some cottages on the right and, as the road steepens and bends right, take a sharp right turn into a lane. You will see a parking place immediately on the left (which is for a neighbouring cottage) and 5m on the right is Spring Bank with a parking area outside the garage doors. Parking for two cars only.

The postcode for Spring Bank is: LA20 6DR.
