San Ging is a beautiful modern house situated in an elevated location above Keswick. The name San Ging means ‘mountain view’ and this house has plenty of them, offering a stunning panorama of the Western Lake District fells and the northern tip of Bassenthwaite Lake.

Designed by a local architect and built in 2003 to the highest specifications, San Ging has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on several levels, making it ideal for either a family or a group of friends, sleeping up to 8 people.

This holiday home is furnished in a style that combines minimalism with comfort, giving it a warm and friendly feel. The views from its large sitting room, especially as the sun sinks over the horizon, make this a perfect place to be at the end of a Lakeland day.

The house is only 2 minutes drive and 10 minutes walk from all the facilities of the bustling market town of Keswick, with its unsurpassed range of outdoor shops and many pubs, restaurants and cafés. By day, Keswick is the ideal starting point for walkers and climbers, as well as those who want to potter around the shops or take a ride on the steam launch on Derwentwater. By night there is a cinema, or the famous Theatre by the Lake, which puts on plays, shows and concerts all year round.
