Hyggeby Lodge is a luxury Danish pine lodge situated in a lovely location between the pretty Lakeland villages of Yanwath and Tirril. The lodge is new to the rental market and is furnished to a high standard with all modern conveniences. Situated in an elevated position with a light and spacious open plan living area, the lodge offers stunning views from the large picture windows across the countryside to the Pennines and Eden Valley.
Hyggeby Lodge has had several improvements to the accommodation over the winter months and now features a bay window with window seat to the dining area, a new power shower to the main bathroom and an extension to the main bedroom to make it bigger and provide additional en-suite facilities, including toilet, washbasin and a large shower area.
The lodge is very easy to access, being just just three miles from the M6 and is a brilliant base for exploring the Lake District. Ullswater is three miles away with pebble beaches all along the lakeshore to discover. You can hire rowing boats, motor boats and canoes and explore the tiny islands that are dotted around the Lake.
The Ullswater area offers some of the best walking in the Lake District with the mighty Helvellyn range to the west and the remote High Street fells to the east. There is a wealth of walks available from big days out striding across the tops to shorter valley rambles.
When it's time to unwind, It's a short half mile walk to the award winning Yanwath Gate Inn, which is renowned for its excellent food and delightful atmosphere. We regret that Hyggeby Lodge is not suitable for stag, hen or similar parties. Outdoor enthusiasts, friends and families are very welcome.
