Hazelwood

Hazelwood is an imposing detached house of considerable character and charm which has been tastefully refurbished to provide warm and comfortable home from home accommodation. With nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms (five of which are ensuite) there is plenty of space for up to 18 people to enjoy each others’ company.  There is also private parking for nine cars and it is possible to leave your car at the house for the duration of your stay with lots of good walks right from the front door of Hazelwood.
 
Named for the copse immediately behind it, Hazelwood stands on the edge of town, with open fields above, but with Keswick, with its selection of good pubs, restaurants and cafes only a ten minute stroll away. The best of both worlds. Incidentally, the copse is open to all, and a great place for kids to make dens – and you can get in straight from the garden!

Internally, the house allows for all sorts of interaction: you can all be together round the magnificent dining table or lounging in the conservatory; you can have smaller groups in the two sitting rooms; or if you really need some time alone, the bedrooms are very attractive and most have a TV.
