FAR MOOR END: HOW TO FIND US

From the North & the South

• Leave the M6 at Junction 40 (Penrith)
  
  
• Follow the A66 westbound to Cockermouth
  
  
• At the roundabout at Cockermouth take the left turn A5086 (Signed Egremont - the Sheep and Wool Centre is on your left hand side)
  
  
• Follow this road for 7.4 miles, then after Lamplugh take a left turn (signposted for Ennerdale/Kirkland and there is a brown sign for Low Cock How Riding Stables)
  
  
• Follow this road through Kirkland into Ennerdale Bridge
  
  
• In Ennerdale Bridge turn left opposite Shepherd's Arms Hotel/Post Office (the primary school is on the triangle as you turn left)
  
  
• Keep left and continue for approx half a mile
  
  
• Take first road on the right (not farm entrance, you will pass Low Moor End – a farm). Signposted for "The Lake" (white cottage block on the corner as you turn)
  
  
• Continue just past the cottages and Far Moor End is on the right.
  
  
• Go through the large double metal gates (the sign on gates says Far Moor End). Continue down the driveway and then there is another gate and a cattle grid. Cross over and come around the far side of the house – the actual front door is redundant.
