MID TOWN FARMHOUSE: THE SURROUNDING AREA

Mid Town Farmhouse is superby located for those looking to get away from it all. There is plenty to do in the area with just a few suggestions listed below.

Millom (5 miles)

Small shops and takeaways are within easy reach at Millom just five miles away. Originally an industrial town based around iron and steel, there is little evidence of the industry now. For those wanting to find out more, a visit to the folk museum is in order.

Haverigg (5 miles)

Water-sports at Haverigg Port Water Centre.

Bootle (2 miles)

There is Millstone barn here with its farmshop and cafe. There is also a small community bowling green that you are welcome to use - make sure you book it first as the green is generally unmanned.

Silecroft Beach (1 mile)

At Silecroft there is five miles of beach. You can also go horse-riding along the beach.
