BOWDERDALE FARM COTTAGE: ACCOMMODATION

With views overlooking Wastwater Lake and the surrounding fells, Bowderdale Farm Cottage is perfect for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts wishing to explore one of the Lake District's quieter valleys. The cottage offers basic accommodation which is warm and comfortable.

The hallway leads to the kitchen, sitting room and bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished with electric cooker and hob, microwave and plenty of storage space. There is a washing machine and tumble drier at the farmhouse next door which you are welcome to use.

The bathroom is downstairs with electric shower, toilet and sink. Towels are provided.

The sitting room has three sofas (each seating two) and a muliti-fuel stove which warms the living room nicely and also heats the radiators in the rest of the house. Wood and coal are provided free of charge.

Please note that there is no TV or mobile reception at Bowderdale Farm. A television and video/DVD player is provided for use of videos & DVDs only.

The stairs lead from the sitting room to three bedrooms upstairs. One double, one twin and one triple bedroom.

Outside there is the use of a garden which overlooks Wastwater Lake. Please note, though, that the garden is also used by people staying B&B at the farmhouse itself.

There is room for two cars to park in front of the cottage. If you are likely to be in more than two cars, please let us know so we can make alternative arrangements.

We can accept one pet at Bowderdale Farm Cottage although please note that the cottage is on a farm and so dogs must be kept on a lead while at the farm. There is an additional charge of £15 for a dog.
