The Bothy Holiday Cottage

Situated just a few miles from Bassenthwaite, on the quieter side of the Lake District yet within easy access of many of the tourist hot spots that the Lakes has to offer, the Bothy offers stylish and comfortable accommodation for up to four adults. The cottage is in impeccable order throughout, with impressive attention to detail. The owners, Kim & Danny Frost make bespoke wooden furniture at Lowmoor Farm and the cottage (which is on the farm) has been furnished to the highest standards. There are good walks right from the front door - through woodlands, up the fellside and along rivers. Pets are welcome at the cottage. Within a 5 minute drive is Skiddaw, one of the Lake District's highest mountains (with a good pub at the bottom in Bassenthwaite Village). We specialise in weekend lets at The Bothy although we're happy to take full week breaks too on occasion. The farm and timberyard is generally quiet over weekends with nobody at work!
