Booking Information

We take full week bookings (Saturday to Saturday) throughout the year. Weekend bookings are £250 (three nights) in the off-peak season (end October to Easter).

We will hold provisional telephone bookings for a few days and confirm bookings on receipt of a deposit (as shown on the tariff sheet). Payment in full is to be made six weeks prior to arrival by cheque made payable to Sally Ltd (please send cheques to Sally Fielding at Rivendell, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4QP).

Guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 10am on the day of departure and not to arrive before 3.30pm to allow for additional cleaning and maintenance. However, we do expect our guests to leave the cottage in a clean and orderly condition!

Bed linen is included in the price. Electricty is on a £1 meter and oil for the central heating is on a meter reading at the end of your stay. A cot is available upon request.

Pets are welcome at Woodside House (maximum of 2) at no extra charge.

We require a good housekeeping deposit of £50 which will be sent back to you following your holiday minus any breakages or extra cleaning over and above what you would reasonably expect.
