Booking Information

We take full week bookings (Friday to Friday) throughout the year. Weekend bookings are £195 (three nights) in the off-peak season (end Oct to Easter).

We will hold provisional telephone bookings for a few days and confirm bookings on receipt of a deposit (as shown on the tariff sheet). Payment in full is to be made six weeks prior to arrival by cheque made payable to Sally Ltd (please send cheques to Sally Fielding at Rivendell, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4QP).

Guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 10am on the day of departure and not to arrive before 3pm to allow for additional cleaning and maintenance. However, we do expect our guests to leave the cottage in a clean and orderly condition!

Heating oil, and linen are included in the price. You will need to bring your own towels.

The cottage operates a no smoking policy.

Pets are welcome at Newlands House but we can only accept one pet unless by prior arrangement. We ask that pets do not go in the bedrooms and do not use the furniture.
