FAR MOOR END: AVAILABILITY & PRICES

We can let the house and the barn together for 16 people, or the house separately on its own for ten people. Once either the barn or the house has been booked, we will not take a booking for the second unit, so your party will not be sharing the grounds or buildings with any other visitors during your stay.

Booking Information

We take full week bookings (Friday to Friday) throughout the year. Weekend bookings are £750 for up to ten people or £1188 for sixteen people (three nights) in the off-peak season (end Oct to Easter).

Please note that for the six weeks of summer, May bank holiday, the main October half term week, and the Christmas/New Year period Far Moor End is only available as a full 16 rental [House & Barn together].

We will hold provisional telephone bookings for a few days and confirm bookings on receipt of a deposit (as shown on the tariff sheet). Payment in full is to be made six weeks prior to arrival by cheque made payable to Sally Ltd (and sent to Sally Fielding at Rivendell, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4QP). We also require a security deposit of £100 which will be returned to you after your holiday.

Guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 10am on the day of departure and not to arrive before 4.30pm in order to uphold high standards in cleaning and maintenance. However, we do expect our guests to leave the cottage in a clean and orderly condition!

All fuel, power, and bed linen (including duvets and extra blankets) are included in the cost - with central heating throughout. You need to bring your own towels.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your holiday, we will return your £100 damage deposit (if it has been sent). We regret that any deposits or rental monies received are non returnable and non transferable. We advise you therefore to take out holiday insurance.

• Pets accepted by prior permission only (£15 per pet).
• The house has wi-fi internet connection
• The owners live unobtrusively within the grounds.
• There are two pubs only a mile away
• Ennerdale lake is just a mile in the other direction
• Not all mobile phones get a good signal - the best are Vodaphone & O2.
